Peel Aquatic Club is proud to announce we have been awarded 2021 Club of the Year by the City of Mandurah
Peel Aquatic has had great success in 2021 with a record number of swimmers qualifying for State and Australian Championships, podium positions in 24 events at the last senior State Championships, and with swimmers making National finals and qualifying for Olympic Trials.
”We are very proud to have won 2021 City of Mandurah Club of the Year. It’s a testament to the hard work of our coaches, officials and volunteers” said Club President, Adam Woodage.
The Club also dominated the Junior Sportsperson section of the awards with swimmers, Finlay Larmour, Calia Vlastuin and Sean Alcorn making up three of the five finalists. Finlay Larmour ended up taking home the award and was presented with Junior Sportsperson of the Year at the Mandurah Offshore Fishing and Sailing Club.

It’s very exciting for swimming, Peel Aquatic and it’s members to have been recognised as Club of Year in 2021 for the City of Mandurah.”
The Club’s swimmers are currently targeting the Western Australian State Swimming Championships in December, Junior State Championships March, as well as the Australian Swimming Championships due to be held in Adelaide in April 2022.
”We’ve had great success over the years with an increasing number of swimmers qualifying for State and National Championships“ said Head Coach Pat Stellino. “This coming year our goal is to take a team of around 20 swimmers to Nationals with some of our team targeting qualifying times for Commonwealth Games and Junior Worlds in 2022.”
